Study Nights:
For students in the Meteorology-Climatology Major, this Spring we will continue our Sunday study nights from 6:00-10:00pm in the Meteorology lab, 105. This is a chance to do homework and ask questions to other Meteorology-Climatology students. More information will be available at the first AMS meeting of the semester. This will start on the Sunday, February 18.

Come listen to UNL Alum Logan Howard talk about his journey to the National Weather Service! There will also be a Q&A for those interested in working at the NWS.

Association for Women in Geoscience Panel: April 3 (Wednesday) from 3:30-5:30pm in the Bessey Lecture Hall (117)
Come hear from four women in government and industry work on their paths and their careers. They will each give a small presentation and there will be significant time at the end to ask questions!

AMS/SEAS Department Picnic: April 20th from 11:00am-2:00pm at Oak Lake Park
Come hang out at the end of year department get together! We'll be eating food, playing football and frisbee, and putting on lots of sunscreen!

Fall 2023 Events
Street Fair: August 20 from 6:30pm-8:30pm in the Memorial Stadium parking lot
Come say hi to our Executive Board and learn more about UNL AMS at the annual UNL Street Fair. Our table is right across from Bessey Hall. We'll be doing weather trivia and have a few fun items for you to pick up!
Club Fair: DATE CHANGED DUE TO HEAT ADVISORY, The club fair will be held on Tuesday, August 29 from 11:00am-1:00pm in the green space by the Union
If you miss us at the Street Fair or just want to come talk to us again, we'll have a table at the fall club fair again with weather trivia and fun items! (We'll be in the LEFT grass area if you're facing the Raikes dorms from the Union steps.)

Come join AMS and SEAS on a journey to Skinny Bones Pumpkin Patch to experience a tornado simulation and have fun hanging out with other students outside of Bessey Hall.
