Lincoln Public Schools Science Fair
The UNL Student Chapter of the American Meteorological Society and SEAS will have a booth at the LPS Science Fair on March 7 from 5:00-7:30pm to help bring the geosciences to K-12 students! We will have some interactive activities that encourage attendees to think about our world from deep in the core to the outer reaches of our atmosphere!
Dinosaurs and Disasters
From the University of Nebraska State Museum at Morrill Hall;
"Join UNSM and UNL's Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences to explore the facts and myths of dinosaurs, disasters, and science through hands-on activities led by museum educators and UNL scientists."
This day of education and fun encourages kids to persue science and learn about our earth from those currently earning a degree in Meteorology-Climatology or Geology.
